You will not be stuck doing one task or confined to a single part of the process. Instead, you will gain hands on experience across the full commercial lifecycle.
From estimating and procurement through to surveying, financial reporting, and document control, you will be involved at every stage. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, many of whom have been with the business for over 10 years. That level of retention says everything about the culture.
What you will be doing:
* Assisting with the preparation of estimates, tenders, and valuations
* Supporting procurement including sourcing materials, negotiating, and placing orders
* Monitoring project costs and helping ensure budgets are maintained
* Working with the wider team to manage contracts and financial risks
* Attending site visits twice per month with all expenses covered
* Supporting financial reviews, audits, and final accounts
* Building strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
What they are looking for:
* Someone who genuinely has a passion for Quantity Surveying
* A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
* Confidence communicating and building relationships
* A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
