Amentum is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.

About the opportunity:
The SIXEP Continuity Plant, being delivered by the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) at Sellafield, will ensure the site's existing Site Ion Exchange Effluent Plant (SIXEP) facility can continue its vital work for decades to come. The newbuild SCP facility will play a vital part in Sellafield's purpose to create a clean and safe environment for future generations.

The role
We are looking for Senior CE&I Designer to undertake design delivery support to construction and commissioning activities on the SCP project.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to work independently, and have demonstrable engineering experience, be confident in their own ability to deliver the CE&I scope on a project

As a Senior CE&I Designer some of your responsibilities could include:

* Fully conversant in 2-D drawing packages (ideally AutoCAD) and Aveva E&I

* Production of E&I deliverables such as loop diagrams, block cable diagrams and single line diagrams.

* Ability to update cable details and information within Aveva E&I.

* Review and production of termination details within Aveva E&I.

* Development and update control panel schematic diagrams.

* Ensure that all drawings and documentation are produced to required standards and that the work is completed to the agreed schedule.

As a Senior CE&I Designer you will already have:

* ONC/HNC Qualified in Electrical Engineering or other relevant educational background

* Ability to communicate effectively with team members and across multi-discipline teams.

* Previous experience in the nuclear or other regulated industry
