How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a SENCo to join the team from September 2026. This is a full-time role and would suit an experienced teacher who is passionate about inclusion, SEND provision and supporting pupils with additional needs.

    Start Date: September 2026
    Location: Ealing, London
    Contract: Full Time
    Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR 2 (depending on experience)

    About the Role

    This opportunity would suit a knowledgeable and committed SENCo who is confident leading SEND provision across the school. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership, staff and external agencies to ensure pupils with additional needs receive high-quality support and access to the curriculum.

    Responsibilities

    Lead and manage SEND provision across the school as the SENCo
    Identify, assess and monitor pupils with additional needs
    Support teachers in planning and adapting learning for pupils with SEND
    Liaise with parents, carers and external professionals
    Ensure compliance with SEND policies and statutory requirements

    Requirements

    National Award for SEN Coordination (or previous experience in the role)
    Experience working with pupils with a range of SEND needs
    Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practice
    Able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with staff and families
