About the Role:
As a Plating Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our plating processes. This temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with chemicals and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control: Monitor daily and weekly quality control checks for plating solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Mould Preparation: Prepare moulds for the plating process by taping up and shielding as necessary.
Tank Monitoring: Regularly oversee all products within the plating tanks to ensure they adhere to the correct plating schedule.
Fixture Repair: Utilise your basic mechanical skills to repair fixtures and fittings essential for the plating process.
Water Management: Monitor and maintain the deionised water and effluent plant to ensure optimal operation.
What We're Looking For:
A proactive individual with experience in dealing with chemicals and treatment processes.
Basic electrical and mechanical understanding is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently.
A passion for maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the workplace.Plating Operative
