Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and eager to make a meaningful impact every day? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated SEN TA to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Reading.
This friendly and supportive school is looking for a motivated SEN TA to start as soon as possible. You'll be joining a caring team committed to helping every child reach their full potential both academically and socially.
The Role
In this position, the SEN TA will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs. The successful SEN TA will play a key role in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Key duties include:
Supporting individual learning plans
Working one-to-one and with small groups
Adapting classroom materials to suit different needs
Encouraging independence, confidence, and participation
Liaising with teachers, parents, and external specialistsAbout You
The ideal SEN TA will be patient, empathetic, and proactive, with a strong commitment to helping children succeed. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a willingness to develop professionally are essential for any aspiring SEN TA.
