We are currently recruiting for an Import Operator to join a busy and growing logistics operation based in Grimsby.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in freight, shipping, imports or logistics administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the day-to-day coordination of import activity
Arranging deliveries and tracking operational progress
Processing bookings and updating internal systems accurately
Liaising with customers and internal teams regarding operational matters
Assisting with shipping documentation and general administration
Supporting customs and compliance-related processes where required
Helping ensure the smooth running of a busy logistics function
About You

Experience in logistics, shipping, imports, exports or freight forwarding
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Able to prioritise workload and manage deadlines effectively
Confident communicator with a professional manner
Comfortable working as part of a team in a busy environment
IT literate and confident using internal systems

Up to £30,000 DOE
