Salary: up to £66,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically, 3 to 4 days per week on-site, due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
Simulation Software partners across MBDA to deliver vitaltest capabilities. We develop software for test equipment to verify and validate missile systems from development through to production. As aSoftware Project Leadin our agile, multi-disciplinary team, you will influence product certification while embracingDevOpsand innovative technologies.
Strategic Execution: Define scope with stakeholders, develop comprehensive resource plans, and mitigate risks to ensure milestone adherence.
Team & Supplier Management: Lead multi-disciplinary teams and third-party suppliers, delegating work packages to drive efficient project delivery.
Stakeholder & Change Management: Act as the primary communicator for leadership, managing expectations, requirements trade-offs, and software release authorisations.
Governance & Reporting: Maintain precise documentation and "Time Now" reporting, tracking key metrics like resource utilisation and budget health.
Continuous Improvement: Enforce coding standards and DevOps best practices while evolving project methodologies to boost productivity.
What we're looking for from you:
Project Leadership: Experience of managing software lifecycles from initiation to completion, owning budgets, schedules, and quality as the Design Authority.
Technical Foundation: previous technical experience allowing you the opportunity to leverage a strong background in software engineering to bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives.
