How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the role

    We are looking to recruit an ambitious and successful individual to become our Geely Brand Manager selling new and pre-owned cars.

    As a Sytner Brand Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and development of our Geely Brand in Wolverhampton. You will lead from the front and inspire a fantastic team of colleagues, including Sales Executives and Business Managers, all of whom are integral in making the department the success that it is today. You will also coach and mentor individuals to maximise performance and develop team competence, further driving the department’s success.

    With an increased focus on digital enquiries, your key objectives—aside from maximising opportunities to meet sales and profit targets—will include effective enquiry management and ensuring an optimum stock mix of new vehicles and pre-owned cars, is available at all times. You will ensure all vehicles are presented, priced, and marketed to the highest standards to deliver an outstanding customer experience across a multi‑brand used car offering.

    This is a full‑time role which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

    About you

    It’s imperative that the successful candidate will come to us with a history of outstanding results in a similar position within the automotive industry. You will not be satisfied by just hitting your targets—your ambition will drive you to exceed them on every occasion.

    You will have a strong commercial understanding of used car performance across both franchise and Sytner Select, including stock management, pricing, and margin control. A desire and passion to bring new ideas into the department to continue driving year‑on‑year growth are paramount. You should be a strong motivator and leader—someone who not only sets direction but is also hands‑on in supporting and developing their colleagues.
