The Vision for the Role
We aren't just looking for someone to fill a gap; we are looking for a "future-focused" leader.
Our client's processes are specialised and take time to master. Because of that, they are making a long-term investment in this hire. They are looking for a candidate with a significant professional runway, someone with the energy to learn their unique craft from the ground up and the adaptability to eventually help shape the future of their logistics operations.
If you are a digital native who enjoys the "why" as much as the "how," and you bring a pragmatic, high-energy approach to every challenge, you will thrive here.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Leading the daily intake of raw materials, ensuring every delivery is documented and stored with 100% accuracy.
Digital Integration: Utilising and optimising warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure real-time data integrity.
Process Evolution: Identifying bottlenecks and implementing pragmatic, tech-forward solutions to keep the "Goods In" workflow moving.
Safety & Compliance: Maintaining rigorous standards in line with high-level industry regulations and safety protocols.
Team Leadership: Inspiring a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement within the intake team.
Who You Are
Adaptable & Open-Minded: You aren't "set in your ways." You thrive in environments that embrace change and believe there is always a better way to work.
Pragmatic Problem Solver: You focus on what works, balancing high-level goals with the practical realities of a fast-paced intake department.
High Energy: You bring a proactive, "can-do" attitude and a genuine sense of urgency to the team.
Digital Fluency: You are highly tech-savvy and instinctively understand how software drives physical efficiency.
Growth-Oriented: You are looking for a stable, thriving company where you can build a career over several years, not just a few months.
