Are you a qualified Drama Teacher or Drama specialist seeking an exciting opportunity in a secondary school in Newbury?

Academics Ltd is working in partnership with an outstanding secondary school in Newbury to appoint a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher from September. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to secure their first teaching position.

We are seeking a fully qualified teacher with QTS who is enthusiastic about Drama education, demonstrates strong classroom practice, and has high expectations for student achievement.

The successful candidate will:

Be passionate about Business and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inclusive Business lessons for students of all abilities
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and high expectations of behaviour and progress
Show a keen interest in the science of learning and a commitment to continuous professional development
Possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills and work effectively as part of a team
Have the vision, energy, and commitment to contribute fully to wider school life
Be motivated to make a positive and lasting impact on students' lives and future opportunitiesRequirements:

A degree in Drama or a related subject
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS)
Experience using online or digital teaching platforms
Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching strategies
