The Work
Technical Setup: You calibrate the packing machinery, handle film changes, and troubleshoot equipment stalls to keep downtime to a minimum.
Production Flow: You monitor KPIs and adjust the pace to ensure the daily plan is met and customer orders are fulfilled.
Quality & Compliance: You own the paperwork. You perform bag and seal checks, print accurate pallet labels, and maintain the daily production logs.
Leadership: You train your operatives on the line, coordinate with forklift drivers for materials, and maintain "right-first-time" standards.
Requirements
Background: Proven experience in food production or high-speed manufacturing.
Skills: Technical ability to set up machinery and basic IT competence (Excel/Outlook).
Delivery: A tenacious approach to problem-solving and the ability to lead under pressure.
The Package
Pay: £14.32 per hour + overtime paid at £17.90 per hour.
Shift: 4 on, 4 off (10-hour days).
Status: Permanent, full-time
