About the Role
Academics is currently supporting a secondary school in Swindon seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, inspire students, and progress your teaching career within a supportive and forward-thinking department.
Key Responsibilities
Teach English across KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to students' needs
Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
About You
Passionate about English and education
Strong communication and organisational skills
Positive, adaptable, and proactive approach
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge of the English curriculum
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (including ECT placements)
An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
