How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    In this role, you will be primarily responsible for in-field validation of autonomous agricultural robots on our partner and customer sites in the UK. You will also be responsible for training new owners and operators how to use CLAWS, our autonomous robot, to control weeds for daily operations while also ensuring the product meets the customer requirements and performing correctly. You will gather customer feedback to assist future development as well as supporting maintenance, problem solving and data collection.


    Essential experience, training or skills:

    • Ability to communicate effectively as part of a remote team and build high performing relationships with all stakeholders, both internally, and on a customer site.
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems in a working production environment.
    • Experience in agriculture and/or farming industry.
    • Ability to demonstrate and train our technology use and deployment to other people. 
    • Excellent attention to detail, high levels of organization, customer focused
    • Enthusiastic attitude, and a willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly.
    • Training and capability in safe handling of heavy equipment.
    • You must have a right to work in UK and a Full, Clean UK Driving license (use of a company vehicle will be provided).


    Desirable, but not essential:

    • Experience with auto steer systems, field robots, rover or drone operations, or autonomous vehicles.
    • Background in test planning, test execution and data analysis for agri/ off highway vehicles or robotic equipment.
    • Experienced in Instrumentation, Data acquisition and troubleshooting.
    • Experience with battery charging and handling.
    • Experience in machinery logistics (towing and trailer loading/unloading).
    • Agronomic knowledge of weeds, crop, and growing cycles 
    • Technical skills in any or all of the following will be an advantage to assist problem solving in the field: Drone autopilots or  Ground Control Systems. Windows and Linux systems. Hardware maintenance. GPS and RTK. Cellular communications.


    Education:

    • HND or University Degree in agricultural engineering or working equivalent experience.
    • Fluent in English.
    • Basic understanding of Spanish is desirable but not essential.


    Role location:

    The role will be primarily field based, where you will be actively supporting and training new operators to use our systems on farms in the UK and Spain. Flexibility to travel will be required. Work locations around the UK Training will be provided.
