Benefits Lead
Contract – until October 26
Reading or Newbury (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, occasional London travel)
We’re looking for an experienced Benefits Lead to support the delivery of a major transformation of our UK benefits offering. Working closely with the Reward & Benefits Manager, you’ll play a key role in aligning all employees onto a single benefits platform by October 2026, creating a seamless, modern and market-leading employee experience.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead the end-to-end integration programme, bringing together multiple providers, systems and processes into one cohesive solution. You’ll work across HR, Technology, Finance and Compliance teams to ensure delivery is robust, compliant and focused on delivering great outcomes for employees.
Responsibilities of the Benefits Lead includes:
- Lead the benefits alignment programme, migrating all employees to a single platform
- Oversee integration activity including provider consolidation, contracts and process design
- Partner with HR Technology and People Systems teams to ensure seamless system and data integration
- Establish governance, reporting and tracking to ensure successful delivery
- Design and deliver a simple, engaging end-to-end employee benefits experience
- Act as the benefits SME across project boards, steering groups and cross-functional forums
- Support pension auto-enrolment governance and reporting
The successful Benefits Lead will have:
- Proven experience in employee benefits, ideally within transformation or alignment programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including senior leadership engagement
- Highly analytical with strong strategic thinking capability
- Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex information
Technical experience
- Experience with benefits platforms (e.g. Darwin / Aon)
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors
