We’re looking for a commercially aware and customer-focused Estimator to join a growing team working on structural steel projects. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working from technical drawings, preparing detailed estimates, and building strong client relationships.
🔧 What you’ll be doing
- Manage the enquiry and tender process, identifying commercially viable projects
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for clients
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth tender delivery
- Maintain and grow client relationships, supporting new business opportunities
- Ensure projects run efficiently and meet commercial targets
✅ What we’re looking for
- Experience in an estimating role within construction or engineering
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience with structural steel projects is advantageous
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification desirable
