How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Victoria Beckham Ltd offers a selection of work placement opportunities for those currently studying at university and looking to gain experience in the Fashion Industry. The placements we offer provide a varied and tangible learning experience that can be applied to roles in the future and support the university learning experience.


    Location: Hammersmith, London

    Placement: 6-12-month placement, with the anticipated start date of August 2026


    We are looking for a motivated and dedicated student with a real enthusiasm to work within the Accessories Design Team. The purpose of the role is to support the Accessories Designers across Leathergoods: Bags, Small Leathergoods and Belts.


    KEY DAILY TASKS:

    • Assist with creative research responding to a brief

    • Create CAD colour-ups using Photoshop

    • Update the seasonal range plan using InDesign

    • Help the designers with maquettes and mocking up prototypes in the studio

    • Support team with the preparation of Design Meetings (prepare protos, raw

    materials, colour cards, boards, room set up)

    • Maintain an updated library of raw materials: trims, leathers, hardware items,

    colour cards, so the team can locate quickly when needed

    • Support the team in the preparation of Shows and key Fittings and Shoots

    (samples preparation and shipments, packing lists, tools needed for the Show

    prep and fittings)


    REQUIREMENTS

    • Photoshop & Illustrator knowledge (Compulsory)

    • InDesign proficiency

    • Sewing skills

    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

    • Good communication skills: able to effectively share info with internal and

    external teams in a clear and concise way.

    • Flexible attitude and commitment to getting the job done.
