Meridian Business Support is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a global supplier to the fruit‑growing industry, for a Management Accountant to join their global headquarters in Ledbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, detail‑driven Management Accountant who enjoys partnering with operational teams and wants to play a key role in a fast‑growing, sustainability‑focused business.
Our client is a forward‑thinking global organisation supplying the fruit‑growing industry worldwide. As Management Accountant, you’ll become a key member of the finance team, working closely with the Managing Director, Farm Business Managers, Commercial teams, and colleagues across the UK and Portugal.
Your insight and analysis will directly influence operational performance, strategic decisions, and long‑term growth.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
Location: Office‑based in Ledbury (discretionary work‑from‑home option after probation)

Prepare and review monthly management accounts for two key business areas
Produce month‑end and year‑end files in line with policy and legislation
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure accurate carbon reporting within Hortiplanet
Lead monthly Green Sheet reviews
Process consumables stock, accruals, prepayments and crop valuation adjustments
Complete intercompany reconciliations
Provide purchase ledger and payroll support
Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
Deliver insightful financial information to support commercial and operational decision‑makingAbout You
Previous experience within a Management Accountant role
Part‑qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA / AAT)
High personal energy with a proactive, positive mindset
Strong attention to detail and logical decision‑making skills
Commercially aware and forward‑thinking
Confident working independently in a fast‑paced environment
Open to change and continuous improvement
Experience with financial systems — Business Central 365 experience is advantageousBenefits
