PE Global is recruiting Material Handlers on behalf of a leading organisation within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. These roles are based on-site in Swindon, UK, working 40.25 hours per week on a 2 days / 2 nights / 4 off shift rotation (07:00–19:00 / 19:00–07:00). The position offers an hourly rate of £13.90 and is available to start ASAP on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension and eventual permanent hire. This is a fully on-site position with no home working options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver materials to manufacturing and packaging lines according to production schedules.
- Remove and store or dispose of excess packaging materials.
- Pick up, transfer, and shrink-wrap pallets of finished products.
- Accurately complete documentation for all material movements.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP, GDP, MHRA regulations, and internal SOPs.
- Keep workspaces clean, organised, and ready for audits.
- Follow manual handling and safety procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report any hazards, deviations, or non-conformances.
- Work collaboratively with key internal departments to support operational flow.
Requirements:
- Experience in a GMP-regulated warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (JDE desirable), MS Office, and inventory processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
