PE Global is currently recruiting for Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing company in Bangor, County Down.
Pay rate is £13.12/hr or £13.41/hr with FLT licence (training can be provided).
Shifts: 8-hour rotation, Monday–Friday (Days & Evenings)
Responsibilities
- Operation of large-scale industrial machinery to defined instructions and operating procedures.
- Follow a production schedule, working within a small team/crew.
- Manufacture adhesive-coated tapes for automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.
- Set up machines, load raw material into machines, manually operate machines, and unload finished product from machine.
- Work from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures.
- Operate with moderate direction, identifying issues/problems and seeking assistance when required.
- Operator has control over product quality.
Education / Experience
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity required.
- Basic data entry and computer proficiency preferred.
- Working in a safe manner is the number one priority.
- Reliable timekeeping, working to your best ability, and able to follow instructions.
- FLT license preferred (training can be provided).
- Experience in a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment operating production equipment.
- Flexible attitude and quality-focused mindset.
