Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Estimator role located in Sheffield. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for architectural metalwork projects, reviewing project drawings and specifications, sourcing material and subcontractor quotes, and submitting competitive tenders. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the design and project management teams, liaising with clients to ensure alignment with project requirements, and maintaining accurate records of costing data.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and specifications
- Strong numerical and analytical skills for cost estimation
- Experience in sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
Previous experience in architectural metalwork essential.
