This is a full-time, on-site Fabricator role based in Warrington. The Fabricator will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components, and operating tools and machinery. The role includes measuring materials accurately, performing quality checks, and adhering to safety standards. Collaboration with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure high-quality outputs is also an essential aspect of the position.
- Proficiency in operating fabrication tools and machinery, such as welders, grinders, and cutting equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements accurately
- Knowledge of different metals and their properties as relevant to fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and skills in quality control and problem-solving
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with colleagues
- Understanding of safety standards and procedures in a fabrication environment
- Previous experience in metal fabrication or a related field is strongly preferred
- Relevant technical training or certifications in welding, machining, or fabrication
