We’re looking for a Resource Controller / Stores Person to join a well-established infrastructure business with over 25 years of experience delivering essential services across the UK and Ireland.

📍 Location: Fareham (Palmerston Depot)

💼 Contract: Full-time, 9-month temporary role, opportunity to become a permanent role

🕒 Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:30–15:30

💰 Salary: £24,309 – £31,230 (depending on experience and working hours)

🌍 About the Role

This is a key position supporting large-scale street lighting operations—helping maintain and upgrade critical infrastructure that keeps towns and cities safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible.

You’ll play a central role in coordinating resources, managing stock, and ensuring field teams have everything they need to deliver high-quality service on time.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

On a typical day, you’ll:

• Manage and order stock for lighting materials and components
• Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
• Schedule and allocate resources to support operational teams
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery
• Update systems and reports to track usage and performance

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Valid forklift licence (essential)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate across teams
• Experience with stock systems and Microsoft Office
• A proactive, detail-focused approach

⭐ Nice to Have (But Not Essential)

• Experience in street lighting, highways, or utilities
• Knowledge of health & safety in operational environments
• Familiarity with asset or works management systems
