About the Role
CAMHS Professionals is recruiting experienced Children's Residential Support Workers to join a bank of professionals supporting children's care homes across Bolton, on behalf of a local authority client.
This is a flexible, ad hoc role — ideal for candidates who want to work around their own availability. Each week we'll reach out to confirm your availability and match you to available shifts at care homes in the area. There's no fixed commitment, making this a great opportunity for those looking for flexible, rewarding work with children and young people.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be supporting children and young people with complex care needs within residential care home settings. This includes working with young people who have learning difficulties and those presenting with complex behavioural needs, helping them to feel safe, supported, and understood in their day-to-day lives.
Requirements
- ✅ NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care — essential
- ✅ Proven experience working in a children's residential care setting — essential
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- A calm, compassionate approach with the ability to manage complex and challenging situations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
Location
Bolton, Greater Manchester. You will be placed into care homes operated within the local authority area.
