Pepper Advantage is one of the leading loan servicing companies in the UK, and we are currently recruiting for a Head of People Change to join our growing HR team. This role is a 2 year fixed-term contract.
We are looking for an experienced HR Professional to support the delivery of people related change projects and activities across the wider business.
As a Head of People Change some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of employee change projects across the business, owning complex programs and supporting the HR team to deliver smaller initiatives. The main project will be optimisation and integration of staff numbers due to acquisition.
- Partnering with stakeholders to meet business needs while complying with policy, process and employment legislation.
- Leading change management workstreams (culture, values and communications), evaluating organisational impact and adoption
- Creating and maintaining ER workstream plans, milestones and progress reporting.
- Providing motivational and technical leadership, with clear guidance and oversight of delegated tasks.
- Maintaining clear communication across HR and the Project Team, supporting managers to apply people policies confidently and consistently.
- Owning and continuously improving the organisational people change approach to deliver consistent, agile and fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Coaching and providing feedback to colleagues and team members to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Building strong relationships with Unions, External Legal Advisors, Senior Management, Legal & Compliance teams, People Business Partners and Employees.
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience in a Senior ER/HR Manager role
- Strong project management capability
- Deep ER expertise, including redundancy consultation and employment law requirements for transformation programmes.
- Good level of problem-solving capability to ensure solutions for improvement deliver business benefit.
- Ability to evaluate people data and pull-out essential elements.
- Previous experience of mentoring and coaching key stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse information accurately
- Excellent reporting skills, including Excel and use of other systems

This position operates on a hybrid working model, requiring up to two days per week of on‑site attendance at one of our company offices.
