We’re on the hunt for a Private Client Solicitor, with 2-3+ years PQE, who is looking to steer their career away into an operational role as an Operations Lead / Legal Operations Manager.

Our client is recruiting for a newly created position so this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and make the role your own, bridging your legal expertise with business management and supporting the growth and development of the firm from the inside.

Joining a successful legal services firm, the Private Client Operations Lead will manage all operational areas of the business including regulatory compliance, legal support, client services, systems and CRM management and managing the SRA authorisation process.

The role: Our client will consider full time or part time (4 days/week) for this position and offers hybrid working, with 3 days/week required in the office.

The role will require occasional travel into London to attend client meetings.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring company compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations
• Managing the SRA authorisation process for the firm
• Overseeing and developing AML policies and procedures and acting as AML Officer as required
• Leading day-to-day operational management
• Providing client support and answering client queries
• Managing CRM systems
• Maintaining compliance documentation
• Supporting legal advisors and paralegals as needed
• Managing regulatory audits, file reviews and internal monitoring
• Supporting and developing internal processes, systems and technology

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Private Client Solicitors - with c2-3+ years PQE
• Solid working knowledge of SRA processes, standards and regulations
• Demonstrable understanding of UK AML legislation and compliance
• Experience working in a regulated law environment
• Commercially savvy with the ability to balance legal expertise and regulatory compliance with business objectives
• Experience managing CRM systems
• Proactive, compliant and resourceful nature
• Sound commercial acumen
• Highly organised with detailed accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident and accurate communication skills (written and spoken)
