How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Location: Shepherd’s Bush, Hammersmith & Fulham
    Start Date: April 2026 (Summer Term)
    Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with potential to continue in September)
    Pay: £92.63 – £106.52 per day (depending on experience)

    A well-established and inclusive primary school in Shepherd’s Bush is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team for the Summer Term, with the opportunity to continue into the next academic year from September.

    The school has a strong commitment to inclusion, ensuring that all pupils—regardless of their needs—are supported to access a broad and balanced curriculum in a nurturing and supportive environment.

    This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH).

    The Role:

    * Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

    * Supporting pupils both within the classroom and in breakout spaces where needed

    * Helping children regulate, engage with learning, and follow structured routines

    * Working closely with teachers and the SENCo to implement tailored strategies

    * Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive social interaction

    * Supporting a range of needs including ASD, SLCN, and SEMH

    The Ideal Candidate:

    * Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting

    * A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

    * Confident supporting pupils with regulation and behavioural needs

    * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff

    * A proactive and adaptable attitude to meet pupils’ individual needs
