Your Role
As a Qualified Lecturer, you will design, develop, and deliver stimulating learning materials across various modules or within a specialised subject area. You will ensure the effective delivery of teaching programmes aligned with the University’s strategy, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will contribute to initiatives promoting innovative teaching practises and may engage in research activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dynamic professional passionate about inspiring learners and upholding high educational standards. You will support and teach learners in accordance with the required curriculum guidelines.
Key Requirements
QTS or PCET qualification – essential for this role
Childcare or Health and Social Care qualifications (desirable but not essential)
Level 3 or coaching qualification related to education (desirable)
Experience in a learning support role, including skills development, pastoral care, or well-being (desirable)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with experience handling challenging behaviours
A clear commitment to learner support and well-being, adopting an inclusive, learner-centred approach
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups including young people, parents, external organisations, and academic colleagues
