Pertemps have an excellent opportunity for Class 1 HGV Shunter Drivers on days to work for our client at East Midlands Gateway. As a Shunter driver you will ensure yard movements are done correctly and support the smooth running of the operation. There is a strong possibility this role will turn permanent with our client.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday
* Nights – 20:00 to 06:30
The successful Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will:
* Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
* Have a valid tacho and DQC card
* Previous experience as a shunter is preferred
* Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will include:
* Moving trailers or units around the yard
* Ensure safety of others in the yard
You will receive:
* STD - £18.75 per hour
* OT - £28.12 per hour
