How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Ingredient Mixing Operative - Bradford

    We are recruiting Ingredient Mixing Operatives to join the Ingredients Processing Centre of an established food and drink manufacturer in Bradford. This is a long-term temporary assignment with opportunities for permanent placement for high performers.

    Pay: £15.25 per hour
    Hours: 12-hour continental shifts, 07:00-19:00 (weekdays and weekends included)
    Contract: Temporary ongoing (long-term) with permanent opportunities
    Benefits: On-site parking, on-site canteen, competitive pay, permanent opportunitiesAs an Ingredients Mixing Operative, you will accurately produce syrups and support plant performance by following standard recipes and control systems, ensuring hygiene and safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement

    Primary responsibilities:

    Produce syrups to recipe using site control systems (MES/SCADA)
    Accurately move and record raw materials (FIFO and batch controls)
    Keep the Ingredients Processing Centre clean and organised (5S)
    Coordinate cleaning of downstream equipment with other teams
    Complete system audits and routine reports
    Perform dynamic risk assessments and follow safety procedures
    Support improvement projects and help meet targetsEssential qualifications & skills

    Strong attention to detail and high accuracy with raw materials
    Good Understanding of 5S and BIT
    Food safety / hygiene knowledge or certification
    Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office)
    Basic mechanical aptitude / Autonomous MaintenanceDesirable

    Experience in beverage or FMCG manufacturing
