Operating from state-of-the-art kitchens in Oxfordshire, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef to further develop their skills within a high-quality, fast-paced production environment.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join a busy kitchen team in Bicester. This role is ideal for someone with solid kitchen experience who is ready to take on more responsibility within a specific section while continuing to grow under the guidance of senior chefs.
The Role
As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the Chef de Partie and Head Chef in running a designated section of the kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing and producing high-quality dishes with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in running a specific section of the kitchen alongside the Chef de Partie
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard in line with recipe specifications
* Support the Head Chef and senior team with daily kitchen operations
* Ensure all food is correctly labelled, stored, and rotated, including allergen compliance
* Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation at all times
* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company procedures
* Assist with stock control, including stock rotation, fridge organisation, and stock checks
* Support and guide Commis Chefs where required
* Contribute ideas and show enthusiasm for learning and development
About You
* Previous experience working in a professional kitchen with fresh ingredients
* Strong understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Confident team player with good communication skills
* Proactive, reliable, and eager to progress within the culinary field
* Passionate about food and developing your craft
