About the Role
Our client are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to support the smooth running of the warehouse. This is a hands-on role focused on accurate stock handling, efficient goods movement, and maintaining a safe working environment. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Handle daily warehouse tasks including goods-in, goods-out, and internal stock movements.
Load and unload vehicles using a counterbalance forklift (FLT licence required).
Check, record, and store incoming deliveries accurately.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
Carry out regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
Maintain safe, organised, and compliant working areas.
Assist with booking in stock and maintaining warehouse documentation.
Work closely with couriers, drivers, and suppliers to ensure efficient operations.
Operate warehouse equipment in line with safety procedures.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).
Good organisation and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Basic IT skills for stock systems and documentation.
Understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures.
