How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Opportunity

    We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run luxury interiors business for a passionate and committed Kitchen Sales / Lead Designer to join their dynamic and diverse team.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded business with over 30 years of success, known for delivering exceptional high-end kitchen design and first-class customer service.

    The successful candidate will have a flair for creating elegant, luxurious and sleek interiors with a clean, modern aesthetic, while combining creative vision with strong commercial awareness and technical design expertise.

    About the Role

    This is a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Sales / Lead Designer to work within a premium showroom environment, supported by an experienced and dedicated back-office and aftersales team.

    You will be responsible for designing and selling luxury kitchen projects, managing the customer journey from initial consultation through to design, quotation and, where required, completion.

    This role would suit someone who is passionate about interior design, luxury products and client experience, and who thrives in a consultative, design-led sales environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Deliver world-class customer service to clients both in person and over the phone
    Meet with customers to understand their vision, lifestyle needs, design preferences and budget
    Prepare detailed design briefs, quotations and project specifications
    Design and present inspiring, high-end kitchen concepts with exceptional attention to detail
    Create elegant and functional kitchen layouts aligned with the client’s aspirations
    Conduct site/home surveys where required to gather accurate dimensions and specifications
    Manage and progress customer projects from initial enquiry through to completion
    Sell premium and bespoke kitchen solutions across a broad project value range
    Liaise with fitting and installation teams to support successful project delivery
    Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and deliver excellent after-sales service
    Ensure all designs are commercially viable, technically accurate and aligned with customer expectations

    About You

    We are looking for a creative, commercially driven and technically capable individual who can confidently manage high-value kitchen projects and deliver an exceptional client experience.

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    A strong interior design or kitchen design background
    Natural design flair with the ability to create luxury, aspirational spaces
    Proven experience in high-value sales, ideally within kitchens, interiors or luxury home products
    Confidence in presenting and selling projects ranging from £25,000 to £150,000+
    Strong understanding of kitchen ergonomics, layouts and installation requirements
    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    The ability to manage client expectations, budgets and project timelines
    A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach
    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
    Desirable Experience:

    Experience using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Compusoft and/or Winner
    Previous showroom-based sales/design experience
    Experience within the luxury interiors or premium home improvement sector
