We are looking for an experienced, proactive Temporary Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the newly appointed CEO. This is a fast-paced, high-trust role where you will act as a key interface between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Proactive, confidential EA support to the CEO
Complex diary and inbox management, including prioritisation and drafting responses
Planning and coordinating internal and external meetings, events, and hybrid setups
Preparing briefings and handling confidential correspondence
Supporting wider office systems and processes
Providing holiday cover for other EAs as neededYour Experience:
Significant EA experience supporting senior leaders
Strong electronic diary and inbox management skills
Confident user of Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proactive, self-starting, and calm under pressure
Excellent judgement, discretion, and emotional intelligence
Experience improving processes and organising high-profile events
Job Title: Temporary Executive Assistant (6 months)
Location: York (hybrid - 2 days per week in office, plus additional days to support the CEO)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Up to £40,000 (pro rata, equivalent to approx. £21.98 per hour)
Contract: Temporary, 6 months
This role is offered on a temporary 6-month basis, starting as soon as possible.
