HGV Service Technician

We’re currently looking for an experienced HGV Service Technician to join a well established  team based in the Yorkshire region on a full time basis. You’ll be part of a highly driven team and share our ambition of becoming the best supplier within our field.

You’ll be responsible for

Attending breakdowns within our territory
Machinery fault finding on site and resolving the problem in a timely manner
Overhauls and repairs to machinery within our workshop
Reporting faults to relevant parties
Carrying out the service and maintenance of agricultural machinery
Replacing parts and working closely with our Parts Department to ensure delivery
Completing job cards and warranty / maintenance paperwork to a high standard
We’ll expect you to

Have a sound technical understanding of root crop equipment and agricultural machinery in general
Be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
Be driven and committed to the success of the business
Have a positive can-do attitude
Be able to work on your own initiative as well as in a team environment
Have a clean UK driving licence and be willing to travel
Be flexible with regards to working seasonal overtime and some unsociable hours
Have sound time management and administration skills
