How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    4x basic salary life assurance We’re looking for an inspiring Health & Safety Manager to lead and strengthen our approach across UK operations. This role is all about people, culture and influence. You’ll drive a modern, proactive safety agenda—one built on innovation, collaboration and shared responsibility—engaging teams, shaping behaviours and embedding a culture where everyone takes ownership for safety.

    What You’ll Do

    Support the Head of Health and Safety to develop and implement a people‑centred H&S strategy across multiple sites
    Shape a strong safety culture, reinforcing the right behaviours, attitudes and personal responsibility across all levels of the business
    Act as a trusted partner to leaders, managers and frontline teams—providing guidance, challenge, and practical solutions
    Actively engage with operational teams on site to understand risks firsthand and co‑create safety procedures that are both effective and aligned with commercial and operational realities.
    Lead the development of H&S management systems that maintain legal compliance while prioritising the protection of our people. About You

    Proven H&S experience in a multi‑site, operational environment
    A strong, engaging personality with the ability to connect, influence and inspire
    A natural team player who values collaboration and shared ownership
    Passionate about culture, behaviours and continuous improvement
    Confident, practical and people‑focused in your approach
    Preferably NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) qualified with Chartered IOSH status
