How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer (Fanuc or Haas)

    Job Type: Permanent

    Location: Bradford

    Salary: £22.00 - £23.00 per hour (including shift allowance, dependent on experience)

    Shift: Nights - 3:45 PM to 2:00 AM

    Overtime: Regularly available, paid at 1.5x standard rate

    Our client, based in Bradford, is a precision engineering specialist, working across industries such as food and beverage manufacturing, medical, utilities, chemical packaging, and recycling.

    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, primarily using Fanuc or Haas controls.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Program, set, and operate CNC Milling machines using Fanuc or Haas controls.
    Utilise basic inspection equipment to ensure products meet required quality standards.
    Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
    Maintain high standards of quality and produce work to fine tolerances.
    Work well both independently and as part of a team.
    Troubleshoot and resolve machine and production issues.
    Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to on the shop floor.
    Be flexible and willing to work overtime as required by the business.

    Ideal Candidate:

    Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling machines with Fanuc or Haas controls.
    Strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to interpret them accurately.
    Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship, but experience is the key factor.
    A professional, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
    Excellent organisational and time management skills.
    Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail.

    What We Offer:

    Competitive salary of £22ph - £23ph, depending on experience, including shift allowance.
    Overtime available at x1.5.
