How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical Bias)

    M&E Services Provider

    Commercial Building | Canary Wharf, London

    Salary: £55,000

    Alice Rose Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading M&E services provider to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical Bias) for a prestigious, fully tenanted commercial building in Canary Wharf.

    This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a high-profile site, overseeing 11 occupied floors in a client-facing, standalone capacity. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring smooth building operations and exceptional tenant satisfaction.

    Maintenance Supervisor Key Responsibilities

    * Site Management: Oversee day-to-day building services operations across 11 tenanted floors

    * PPM & Reactive Maintenance: Ensure all works are delivered in line with contractual SLAs

    * M&E Systems: Manage maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment

    * Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for client and tenant communication

    * Building Oversight: Manage both base build and tenant areas

    * Reporting: Produce monthly reports and support contract performance reviews

    * Coordination: Schedule works, manage workload, and oversee subcontractors

    Working Hours

    * Monday to Friday

    * 08:00 – 17:00

    Requirements

    * City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (essential)

    * Electrically qualified (Level 3 minimum – NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)

    * Apprenticeship trained

    * Proven experience within commercial building services / FM environments

    * Previous experience in a Supervisory or Site Management role

    * Strong technical knowledge of building services systems

    * Excellent communication skills with a client-facing approach
