Housing Support Officer - Mobile Position (North London)
Location: LB Brent and various sites across North London
Rate: £12.71 /hour PAYE | £16.88 hour Umbrella
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Temp to Perm
Must be a driver
Are you an experienced Housing Support Officer with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle complex tenant needs? We are currently recruiting for a full-time mobile Housing Support Officer to support vulnerable tenants across housing sites in North London.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored, person-centred support to residents living in temporary or supported accommodation

Carry out regular property visits, welfare checks, and tenancy sustainment interventions

Help residents access services for employment, benefits, mental health, and social support

De-escalate challenging situations and manage behavioural concerns with professionalism and empathy

Accurately record casework and support plans

Liaise with other teams including maintenance, mental health, and safeguarding professionals
✅ Requirements:

Previous experience in would be beneficial housing support, supported housing, or homelessness services

A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle

Strong written and verbal communication

Comfortable working independently in a mobile role

Resilient, confident, and emotionally intelligent
