How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrician (Training in Renewable Energy)

    North West

    £37,000 - £40,000 + Company Van and Tools + Overtime + Bonus Potential + Rising Holiday Allowance + Pension

    Are you a qualified electrician looking to advance your career within the consistently evolving renewable energy sector?

    Do you want to join an ambitious and dynamic company during an exciting period of growth who will invest in your training and encourage career progression?

    This company has already established themselves as a key player across the Northwest Region and have the aim of being the electrical contractors of choice across the West Midlands. They offer a range of domestic electrical services, including installations, repairs and safety checks/inspections, and are looking to expand within the EV, solar and battery storage markets on a domestic and commercial scale to build upon their renewable brand.

    In this role you work predominantly on domestic properties, repairing, maintaining, and servicing a range of electrical systems within the home from lighting to audio installations, as well as working on EV charge points, Battery storage and Solar energy systems. There is also the opportunity to work on some light commercial and project work for bigger electrical contracting jobs.

    This role would suit an experienced electrician looking to break into the renewable sector. You should hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification and 18th edition as a minimum, and have a full UK driving license.
