We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Transport Coordinator with a strong background in HGV fleet operations.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating deliveries across a fleet of HGVs and vans, ensuring efficient, compliant, and on-time operations.
Key Duties
Vehicle scheduling and route planning
Monitoring vehicle tracking and delivery progress
Managing drivers (timekeeping, debriefs, communication)
Processing delivery notes and maintaining system records (Microsoft NAV)
Coordinating fleet maintenance and defect resolution
Preparing transport documentation in line with legal requirements
Acting as the key contact for drivers, customers, and internal teams
Supporting compliance with transport regulations
Requirements
Experience coordinating HGV fleets (essential)
Strong planning and organisational skills
Good knowledge of transport compliance
Confident communicator with a proactive approach
