Fawkes and Reece are proud to be working with a regional main contractor based in Leeds recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic construction team. You will be working on projects that would be typically ranging from £500k - £10m in value. You will be responsible to tenders from enquiry to handover within their commercial team working on both D&B and traditional forms of contract.
Duties Include But Are Not limited Too;
Attend tender presentations for new projects, contribute, lead commercially and present. Prioritisation of all tenders
Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for contracts.
Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlement.
Work with surveyors in preparation of quantified schedule of rates and bill of quantities.
Prepare tender summaries and attend start-up pre-price and price meetings.
Assist in preparation for settlement meeting enquiries whether risk register, prelims and labour rates have been done.Benefits:
