How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SEND Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 3
    Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to support young people with additional learning needs? Do you want to work in a specialist setting where you can make a real difference every day? This excellent special school is looking to appoint a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 3 students in a supportive and welcoming SEND environment.

    As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide both 1-2-1 and whole class support for students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Moderate Learning Needs. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with learning, develop confidence and build independence. This is a rewarding role where strong relationships and consistent support are key to student success. This role requires a Teaching Assistant with previous SEND experience. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.

    Job Role:

    Providing 1-2-1 support for Key Stage 3 students with SEND
    Supporting whole class learning alongside the class teacher
    Assisting pupils with ASC and moderate learning needs
    Helping students remain engaged and focused during lessons
    Supporting communication, social skills and independence
    Working closely with teachers and other support staff
    Promoting positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
    Monitoring and reporting on student progress and wellbeingIn Return You Will:
