A well-established, family-run retailer is expanding its team and seeking a confident, service-driven Sales Advisor for their showroom in the local area. Known for delivering exceptional customer experiences and premium quality products, this growing business is looking for someone who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment.
You'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service throughout the full customer journey - from initial enquiry through to aftersales care. This is a varied position combining showroom-based sales, technical advice, administration, and customer support both in person and over the phone/email.
Description of the role:
Engage with customers in the showroom and over phone/email to guide them through the sales process.
Provide tailored advice on products, technical suitability, sizing, and design.
Create quotations, process payments, arrange deliveries, and resolve customer queries.
Manage sample requests and follow up with prospective customers.
Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
Ensure the showroom remains tidy, welcoming, and well-presented.
Confirm showroom appointments and prepare refreshments for visitors.
Make proactive follow-up calls to clients and handle all incoming enquiries efficiently.About you:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer-facing sales or retail role
Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience using a CRM system and Microsoft Office
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
A proactive, hands-on attitude
