Full-Time - 37.5 hours per week
Based in Dartford
We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our precision engineering team in Dartford. This role involves machining high-quality components to tight tolerances, working from detailed technical drawings within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
⦁ Programming, Setting and operating CNC 3 axis milling machines
⦁ Producing precision components to specification and fine tolerances
⦁ Familiarity of working with Heidenhein controls would be advantageous
⦁ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
⦁ Selecting appropriate tooling and materials
⦁ Performing quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish
⦁ Maintaining machines and ensuring safe operation
⦁ Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production targets
Candidate Requirements
⦁ Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment
⦁ Ability to set and operate CNC milling machines independently
⦁ Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
⦁ High attention to detail and commitment to quality
⦁ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
⦁ Flexible approach to workload and deadlines
