Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join this Client, a well-regarded Roman Catholic secondary school located in Newham. This is a full-time role beginning in September 2026 on a 1-year fixed contract.

This Client has been recognised in its Ofsted report for its strong leadership, supportive learning environment and pupils' positive attitudes towards learning. Students are ambitious and work hard to achieve their academic goals.

The successful candidate will teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of both physical and human geography while supporting their progress towards GCSE success.

Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 are essential. The school is looking for a passionate teacher who can inspire curiosity about the world while maintaining high standards of teaching and behaviour.
