Security Officer

We are looking for a Security Officer to join a leading global security company based in Yeovil (BA20).

Salary £31,000 per annum (£14.46 per hour)
Overtime: £21.69 per hour (available on days off)
4 on 4 off Shift pattern – Rotating Days and Nights – 06:00 to 18:00 & 18:00 to 06:00
Permanent role and working on average 42 hours per week

We have two opportunities available:

Security Officer - Single Site
Security Officer – Multi-Site 
As a Security Officer, you will be based at a core site in Yeovil, responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors. You will monitor access points, conduct regular patrols, respond to incidents, complete reports, and ensure all site procedures are followed at all times.
 
As a Multi-Site Security Officer, you will provide support across multiple locations in Yeovil and Bridgwater. This role requires flexibility and the ability to travel between sites, sometimes at short notice. You will need access to your own vehicle and be comfortable adapting to different site requirements.
 
We are looking for candidates who hold a valid and in-date SIA Licence along with a full UK driving licence. You will need access to your own vehicle, particularly for the Multi-Site role.
 
Due to the nature of this role, enhanced security screening will be required. This will include a five-year UK residential history check, criminal record checks, financial background screening, and verification of employment and references covering the past five years.
 
Security Officer / Multi-Site Security Officer: Key responsibilities

Monitor site access points and control entry/exit
Conduct regular site patrols to ensure safety and security
Respond to incidents and escalate where necessary
Complete accurate reports and maintain records
Ensure compliance with all site procedures and security protocols
Work collaboratively with the wider team and Duty Manager
