Project Manager

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Wimbledon are looking for a highly intelligent Project Manager to join their project management team.

The Company that the Project Manager will join:

The Project Manager will be joining a socially conscious consultancy with 7+ offices in the UK who specialise in delivering construction schemes across the residential, commercial, retail, education, healthcare and leisure sectors with contract values ranging from £5m-£45m.

The Project Manager will be joining a successful consultancy that has over 150+ employees across all their offices and includes a mixture of Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Building Surveyors and Architects.

The Project Manager role:

The Project Manager will be joining an experienced project management team and will be supporting the delivery of projects that range from new build residential developments to retail store fit outs for high end clients.

The Project Manager will be an ambitious individual who has strong communication skills and a client-facing nature as they will be dealing with client's and contractors on a day-to-day basis.

You will be responsible for:

Collaborating with whole Project Management team to drive schemes forward to completion
Communicating with external parties such as contractors and sub-contractors
Provide support/mentorship to junior Project Managers
Reporting progress feedback on Projects to the Project Director weekly
Collaborating with Commercial Managers, Building Surveyors and Architects during all phases of project lifecycles
Reviewing costs regularly to ensure Schemes are within Budget constraints
Attending weekly site visits
Arranging and attending client meetings
Ensure all works are compliant with safety and quality standardsProject Manager requirements:

Previous experience working for a UK construction consultancy
Experience delivering construction projects in the residential, commercial, retail, healthcare, education or leisure sector
Previous exposure of delivering new build, refurbishment or fit out schemes
MRICS qualified or working towards it
BSc/MSc Construction Project Management
Ability to manage schemes simultaneously
Driving Licence and access to a car is useful
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsWhat would be offered:

£55,000-£65,000 per annum salary package
