How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are fully accredited to ISO 9001, and maintaining high standards is central to everything we do. As a close‑knit team, we value people who take ownership, uphold strong quality principles, and contribute positively to our long‑established reputation.

    The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to lead and continually improve our quality function. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, overseeing inspection processes, and driving continuous improvement across the company.

You will work closely with the production team, support audits, and ensure our quality systems remain robust, effective, and aligned with customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage, maintain, and develop the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System

    • Carry out and oversee first‑off inspections, in‑process inspections, and final view inspections

    • Produce and review FAI (First Article Inspection) reports

    • Ensure components meet required tolerances and customer specifications

    • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits

    • Investigate non‑conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions

    • Maintain quality documentation, procedures, and records

    • Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality‑related matters

    • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business

    • Promote a strong culture of quality throughout the team

    About You

    • Experience in a quality role within precision engineering or manufacturing

    • Strong understanding of machining processes and engineering drawings

    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and auditing practices

    • Hands‑on experience with inspection processes and measurement equipment

    • Calibration experience is a bonus

    • Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills

    • Confident communicator able to work with both customers and internal teams

    • Organised, proactive, and able to take ownership of the quality function

    • Experience with QMS systems and documentation

    What We Offer

    • Competitive salary based on experience

    • Company sick pay after 6 months

    • Healthcare scheme (currently Vitality) after 1 year

    • Early finish on Fridays

    • Supportive, family‑run working environment

    • Long‑term stability within a well‑established business

    • Opportunity to shape and strengthen the company’s quality function
