Warehouse Team Leader

Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or experienced Warehouse person looking for a new challenge?

My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced warehouse person to manage their goods inwards, picking, dispatch, stores and general warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include;

* Receiving and booking in of all materials from suppliers

* Internal movements of materials, products and stock

* Using systems to manage stock levels efficiently (WMS, ERP, MS Office etc)

* The ability to identify opportunities for improvement within the warehouse

* Leading and supervising a small team within the warehouse

* Ensuring all equipment is operated safely

You are likely to have worked within busy warehouse environments (high volume, automotive, fmcg, consumer, engineering, manufacturing etc) and have broad experience of general warehouse activities.

Strong communication skills are a must together with a decisive, proactive and flexible approach – ideally you will have led a team previously or perhaps be experienced and looking for an opportunity to progress into a supervisory or management position. You will be used to looking for opportunities to improve processes and procedures, may have some experience within quality inspection and be keen to join an established and successful company.

This role may suit you if you have worked as a warehouse team leader, warehouse supervisor, warehouse manager, warehouse operative, goods in inspector, QC inspector or similar.

This role is easily commutable from Newmarket, Haverhill, Cambridge, Duxford, Royston, Saffron Walden, Bishops Stortford, Linton and more places in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Essex
