HGV Class 2 Driver – Commercial Waste Collection

£14.85/hour + Overtime
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and safety-focused HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team based in Birmingham. You will be responsible for the collection and transportation of commercial waste using our modern fleet of vehicles.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday
Occasional Saturdays required
AM shift starting around 4:00 AM
Paid breaks included
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles
Complete daily collection routes efficiently
Maintain clean and tidy customer sites
Carry out daily vehicle checks
Weigh bins and record data using a tablet
Comply with waste regulations and driver hours
Report any incidents promptly
Essential Requirements
Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Current Driver CPC
Digital tachograph card
Good customer service skills
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling
Flexible with occasional weekend work
